Resources to Turn Your Dreams into Reality

You're not always clear about what you want or why you want it.  You break up with one goal and commit to another one every other week. Somewhere along the way, you forgot what really matters to you. You often feel lost and confused about what to do next.

Here's what to do: don't feel guilty for not getting through your To-Do list. Instead, make rediscovering your core values and passions your top priority. This helps you create inspiring goals that you'll stay committed to even when you're feeling tired and unmotivated.

Breakthrough Tips:

  1. Explore the deeper motivation that's driving you towards your goal. Ask yourself: How will you know when you’ve achieved you goal?  What will happen?  How will your friends and family respond?  How will you feel?  What will you have then that you don't have now.
  2. Identify your top passions by answering this question:  If you could live your life 5 times over as yourself and in each lifetime master a different passion or interest, what would your five lives be?  (Past responses have included:  world-famous DJ, personal chef, stay-at-home mother and cave explorer)

  3. Stop secretly wanting to accomplish your goal just so you can get other people's approval and respect. This is a recipe for stress and depression. Working on your goals should be just as fun as reaching your finish line.
